We took at tour because we were told that the road would be closed on Christmas (it wasn't; many other cars were in fact on the road). The tour guide picked us up on time and was able to show us all of the best picture taking spots, but here was the missed opportunity: she was unable to give us any historical background to what we were seeing, or any perspective from the Navajo side. We were looking forward to hearing about the history of the land, culture of the people and interplay with the local and we were not given any. The monetary value of not having to use my rental car and getting to go on some backroads was not worth what we spent.

Highly recommend this company for sunrise tour! Very informative and pleasant tour. Our tour guide gave us a lot of information about the Navajo people and their culture.

We had booked with another company, who left without us even though we were there before our suggested time! It was our lucky day as Sabrina from Monument Valley Tribal Tours came in and rescued us. Our phone did not work and she called and sorted everything out for us to join her tour. It was the highlight of our two week trip. She was an excellent tour guide. The tour was at a very relaxed pace and she gave us plenty of time to take photos. She was very informative about the culture and history of the area. At one of the stops she sang the most beautiful, haunting song. It was an experience I will never forget. The tour was rounded off with frybread for breakfast. I would thoroughly recommend Sabrina and this company.
