Our most popular tour! Watch a legendary Kona sunset from our spacious 50’ catamaran as you sail the Kona coast, followed by the adventure of a lifetime - snorkeling with the majestic manta rays! Upon arriving, receive an in-depth explanation of one of the most mysterious creatures in the ocean. Join your professional/certified guides in the water as you snorkel with the majestic hahalua (manta rays). Snorkel equipment, instruction, wetsuits and swim noodles are provided. Complimentary water, juice, soft drinks, hot cocoa and cookies included.

Any tour participants that are getting in the water MUST KNOW HOW TO SWIM without the assistance of a flotation device
If guest is not a competent swimmer (as determined by the Captain and/or crew), they will be directed to immediately return to the vessel. In such instances the guest will NOT be refunded
Children under the age of 5 are not allowed in the water and MUST be accompanied by an adult on the vessel at all times

We offer validated parking at the Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha Hotel. The parking charge is $10 for up to 5.5 hours. Please bring your parking ticket with you to check-in.

Wow! We had a phenomenal time and saw so many Mantas…they were swimming all around us and came right up under the light board and our faces - they were maybe an inch from my nose but never touched me. Highly recommend this tour and this tour company!! Definitely recommend wearing a wet suit. I got a little chilly. I didn’t find it difficult to hold onto the board for a half hour as some other reviews mention. Our captain and snorkel guide took great care of us. There were a lot of other tour groups in the water…I liked that this tour was small so we didn’t spend a lot of time waiting and we could hear all the interesting facts about mantas. I also liked that most of the time on this tour was spent in the water. It was only a very short boat ride to the snorkel site - a few minutes each way. The whole thing lasted about 1 hour 20 minutes, which included time to get gear on and off and have a nice cup of hot cocoa at the end.

Aloha! We're thrilled you had a great time snorkeling with the manta rays! We hope you would have had equally kind things to share about your experience with KONASTYLE, but we think you might have been with another tour. We have a 30-40 minute coastal boat ride each way to swim with the manta rays. While we would love to have this review, it belongs to the folks who earned it :) You're right; a wetsuit is very helpful! We provide wet suit tops, but that might not be enough for all body types. The key to not getting tired while holding onto the board is to stay relaxed. Locking your joints and staying tense will tire you out! Mahalo for the great review! - The KONASTYLE Ohana.

Our initial reservation was cancelled due to weather, but Kona Style was able to get us rescheduled the next day. Very knowledgeable staff, super safe, and we saw continuous manta rays on our trip! Would definitely recommend!

What a once in a lifetime experience! If you are in Kona area you must do a nighttime manta ray snorkel. Kona Style is highly recommended. The captain and crew were awesome and they made sure everyone had a great time and stayed safe. The giant manta rays are truly remarkable creatures and they literally swim right up to your face! The crew said we saw about 15 different Mantas and it was just an amazing site. Definitely book Kona Style if you do a night Manta Ray snorkel.
