After creating Hollywood’s most successful true crime tour, we are back to uncover the history of the Sunset Strip! Slashers, specters, and Hollywood stars all mix together on the Strip... sometimes with deadly results.

This walking tour is a deep dive into the true crime and ghost stories of Sunset Boulevard. You'll hear about gangsters like Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel and see where they "took care of the competition." What To Expect
1
Sunset Boulevard
We begin the tour with a look back at the Wonderland Gang murders. How did one of the the most brutal crimes in LA history happen and who was involved? We will also discuss Ramon Novarro and the Zankou Chicken Murders in this area!
2
The Sunset Trocadero Lounge
This will be one of several stops where we discuss the gangster of old LA. Hear about the final moments of the "Ice Cream Blonde" Thelma Todd and her run in with "Lucky" Luciano.
3
Sunset Strip
Now you're really getting into the Sunset Strip. Hollywood moguls and stars come to play at these world famous clubs and hotels. Some play a little too hard...
4
Comedy Store
The biggest names in comedy all cover the exterior of the Comedy Store. On any given night, you could see superstar comedians trying new jokes or discover a comic to watch. But what was here before the store? And do the violent actions of the past carry on today? Let's find out!
5
Sunset Plaza
We continue down more of the Strip while discussing Charles Manson, the Sunset Killers, and the curse of "Rebel Without a Cause" (we will even go to the spot where a Hollywood star took his final walk.)
6
The Viper Room
Our most murder filled true crime tour ends by the Viper Room to remember River Phoenix and to discuss the dangers (and allure) of the Hollywood lifestyle!

The tour was amazing. Chris was very knowledgable and answered all our questions. His stories were detailed and exciting. He also had photos to add to the stories. I recommend to anyone who is a true crime fan.

Sunset Boulevard True Crime and Ghost Stories was a nighttime tour of the most historic , entertainment district in Los Angeles. If you grew up in the 60s , 70s or 80s you were familiar with many of the sites already, such as Hotel Marmount (sp?), but Chris creates value to the tour by adding his personal historic site knowledge. The tour is more like having an historian leading the tour, rather than just a tour guide. You can feel his passion for the subject matter and the great depth of knowledge of the Sunset Strip history and characters. You see all of key sites, such as the Sunset Clubs and hear about the goings on that occurred over the years. I don't think I stumped him with a question! I have been on many tours over the years, but Chris is by far the best tour guide I have had. The tour is about a mile or mile and a half walking , so Chris stops once in a while at a key point to tell a story. You get more than your money's worth with Chris.

I've been a tour guide in both NYC and New Orleans and so I can say with authority that Chris is a top tier guide. This was my second tour I've taken with him while in LA and both were impeccably researched and delivered. There were tons of gruesome stories from LA history I hadn't heard before (and this is someone who studies history for a living). The route is great and everything works as a well-oiled machine. If any doubt on whether to take this tour or not, please do! You won't regret it!
