Crew was extremely nice and friendly, however there is much to be desired for their efficiency in serving food. I'm assuming they heat up the good in microwave because they were only bringing 4 plates up at a time so by the time the last people got their food, half of the people had already finished their meal. Food was okay, but not worth the price in my opinion. Sunset was beautiful. Overall it wasn't terrible, but I wouldn't recommend it for the current price. Maybe just do a sunset cruise and skip the meal

Thank you for taking the time to put together a review and to tell us your concerns. I must say that I am disappointed that, despite all of our marketing and advertising that we prepare our food fresh, it is being assumed that we “heat up the good in microwave? I am going to interpret that string of words as suggesting that we heat up our food in a microwave. Just for clarity, we prepare all our food fresh, on-board, and it is plated from our main deck serving station, which is done in plain sight, for all to see. Since our chef carefully plates every meal individually, it takes some time to serve the entire boat, but we make sure that we serve entire groups at once. We serve the entire boat in a consistent order so that the time between the salad and desert is the same for every group. Also, you noticed that plates came upstairs 4 at-a-time because that is the maximum, we allow our servers to carry up our steep stairways on a moving vessel on a wavy ocean. Our meal service usually takes 20-25 minutes for a full boat, and we are quite happy with that “efficiency”. We are open to suggestions on how to serve a chef prepared meal more “efficiently” but would also comment that even a buffet would take +15 minutes to serve similar number in a single-file format. As far as your comment about the value/price of the trip, I would also recommend that you check out the price of sunset sightseeing cruises, I think you will be shocked. I am confident that we have the best value proposition in Honolulu.

Short rib was delicious. Friendly staff. Cruise started 30 minutes late. Overcast, short sunset window, windy, although this was no fault of the company.

Thank you for the honest review and I appreciate you recognizing the "out of our control" aspects of our business. Full disclosure, there were a number of passengers that had the wrong departure time for the cruise so we did our best to wait for them. Our policy is to leave the dock on schedule, but an exception was made here and we deserve a little criticism for that. Our apologies for shortening your cruise's sunset window.
