The sunset was nice and the servers were great. But the food was so so and there was no booze. The beef was cheap and dry. The seating was also small and uncomfortable.

Thanks for taking the time to let us know what you thought of the cruise. We apologize for the disappointment, but the BYOB format of the trip is clearly communicated to our customers in every facet of our sales, marketing and booking confirmations. This is a temporary situation and is definitely not what we would like to be doing, but it should be no surprise to a customer. We expect the bar to be back to full function very soon. You comment about the seating has some validity, but please keep in mind that this is a moving, rocking, rolling dining platform and the seating is intended to provide stability and security for the passengers. Unfortunately, this is somewhat at the expense of comfort. A dining table/chairs arrangement simply would not work well. Also of note, notwithstanding food preparation, our Chef spares no expense with regards to procuring the best possible ingredients for our menu. Absolutely nothing is “cheap”.

We did this the last night in Hawaii and it was the best idea ever. The food was freshly made by the chief on board and the staff were ontop of all your needs.

The views of Oahu are great but the food and ambiance of the ship are sub par. The staff are great but the price tag steep for what you get. In addition, for a dinner cruise the area you are given to eat is dingy and not a table setting. $373 for two adults and one child. We ate maybe 1/3 for all of three of us combined. The veggie option was really not good. My hubs said the fish was good but he was sea sick.

It isn’t very common for us to get a poor review for our food and/or our ambiance; especially on the same cruise as we get several 5-star reviews. We don’t “hit a homerun” on every cruise, but we try our best. Such is the hospitality industry. We are disappointed that you didn’t feel you got your money’s worth.
