I would have had a better time but my whole family got sick from the boat. So I won’t be bringing them next time. I haven’t tasted the food yet but I like that I could bring it home. The views and crew were spectacular.

Hi Sarah. I hope the food "nukes" well and Chef Cater would probably be very upset if it didn't! It is very nice of you to give us a good review based on your circumstances with your sick family. We often recommend taking motion sickness meds an hour or so before departure. It generally helps a lot, and you get to try the food when it's fresh! Thanks again and hope to see you again soon.

We didn’t get to go. Reservation said 6pm. We got there at 5:30 and boat was already leaving. Ruined our July 4th family experience. Very sad

Reviews are often the forum for expressing a customer’s assessment of their expectations. A good review is often prompted by the exceeding of expectations, while a bad review is often the failure to meet expectations. In this instance, David has some grounds for his opinion, but he is also omitting some important facts. In David’s defense, this Sunset Dinner Cruise was scheduled to leave ½ hour earlier than normal to facilitate a second cruise to watch the 4th of July fireworks. Due to the tight timelines, the boat left the dock precisely on time as to accommodate the second cruise. There was no waiting for stragglers. It is possible that the departure time change did not properly flow up to David’s booking agent’s system. It is not unreasonable that his original booking documents had the incorrect departure time. However, that is not the entire story. The first, and most important fact is that we had a full boat, and every other customer successfully made the boarding time. Also, we intentionally sent a reminder email, of the early departure time, to every booking earlier that day, just to be thorough and our system shows that the contact email address for David’s booking successfully received that email. Similarly, our booking system sends several other follow-up correspondences to all bookings in the days leading up to the trip, and those emails include departure time details. In short, it is possible that David did not have the correct departure time on his original booking documents, but the follow up correspondence, and the specific cruise day reminder email, appeared to be enough notification for all of the other passengers to be aware of the earlier departure time. David did contact us, and we have rebooked some of his party to another night’s dinner cruise but, unfortunately some of his group were unavailable for the rebook. We will do everything we can to get this sorted out.

Lovely relaxing way to spend our last evening in Hawaii watching the sunset. I highly recommend this tour. Great value for money, lovely friendly helpful staff. Even saw some dolphins on the way out. Food was excellent. Thank you guys
