We booked last minute and luckily they had availability. The staff was wonderful, the meal was delicious and the view was beautiful!! I would definitely recommend.

Food was MEH! Loud group on board that made the trip very unpleasant. The views from the water were a big disappointment, as well. Definitely not worth the time and money!

Thank you for providing an honest review. One of the things we put a great deal of effort into is our food, and it’s unfortunate that it wasn’t to your liking. I hope you commented on that to the Chef when he did his rounds to chat with customers. He takes the feedback very seriously and is always trying to improve. It looks like you had booked a Friday night dinner/fireworks cruise as a solo guest. That particular timeslot is often a busy and energetic trip and I understand how ambiance expectations could conflict. One of the advantages of the Prince Kuhio is that the entire boat is available to explore and hang out at, which helps manage those expectations. I’ll be honest with you as well, your comment that “The views from the water were a big disappointment” is absolutely stunning to me, but I respect your opinion. I have never heard a single compliant about the sightseeing component of the trip, especially on fireworks night when the cruise ends with a wonderful show, courtesy of the Waikiki Hilton. I have a feeling that I will be updating this review in a couple days.
