What To Expect

Rainbow Ryders Hot Air Balloon Ride Co.

Upon meeting at the check-in office, your pilots and crew will transport you to the launch site location, where you will have the option to become hands-on and help the crew or take in the view as the gentle giant comes to life. Before loading into the basket, the pilot will conduct a safety briefing, so make sure to listen carefully! Then you are up, up and away into the beautiful Arizona sky.

This was the 51st balloon ride I have done over many years. My first time with this company. Patrick was our pilot. He was very friendly and informative. Answered all questions and explained things very well I had four people with me who had never been up before. All of them enjoyed the experience. One of my best flights away from my home company (whom I have done 40 flights with )

My wife and I had the pleasure to be on a hot-air balloon with Captain Sir Patrick, our group had a commercial airliner pilot and air traffic controller on board as well. Patrick couldn’t have been nicer, his OCD calmed everyone, since we saw him double and triple checking everything. He explained every aspect of the balloon, answered all questions, cracked some pretty good jokes.... We highly recommend crossing “being on a hot air balloon” off your bucket list by booking with Rainbow Riders. ASK TO RIDE WITH PATRICK, they might have other good pilots but he assured us he’s the most experienced in Arizona - 28 years!!! We had a great time!!!!

It was a complete pleasure having Patrick as our guide 4 Hour sunset hot air balloon ride yesterday. The team as a whole work very well together and have great customer service and interaction. The balloon ride was so relaxing, the views were stunning, and our guide did a great job of pointing out landmarks and entertaining us with jokes. A wonderful champagne toast was provided upon Landing. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone, even if you are afraid of heights, it is very much worthwhile.
