Sunset Safari

Overview
We get views of the wildlife of the salt marsh that people almost never have an opportunity to see. We sail daily from April until October so we always know where we are likely to see the most interesting birds and with 25 years of experience running these tours we know where we are likely to have the best trip. Our route varies daily depending on conditions.

Loved all the close-ups of clapper rails and their chicks!! Great commentary from Cap’n Bob and the naturalist. Saw lots of birds: peregrines, whimbrels, willets, spotted sandpipers, black-bellied plovers, etc, etc. Will certainly do the trip again!!

Great guide, really accommodating and having a nature specialist was also really helpful for identifying birds. Boat ride was awesome, even if you aren't into the birding part! Would do it again.

This is the 3rd time my adult daughter and I have been on the sunset birding adventure on the Osprey. We have always seen a vast number of shorebirds, but this year we had the bonus of seeing a bald eagle parent and fledgling. The adult was actually attacked by an Osprey while we all watched from the boat at close range. The eagle was not harmed. Within moments it had caught a 6-7 pound striped bass in the canal. We watched while it dragged the fish out of the water and began to feed. Once in a lifetime happenings! Thanks, Bob.
