My husband has always wanted to go sailing, captain Dwayne took the time to explain how different things work and share some cool experiences he’s had all while giving us an awesome experience! He was funny and made sure everyone was comfortable and having fun! It was a great night!

It was nice to be on the water and the captain was super friendly - BUT we missed the beautiful sunset light over the San Diego skyline :( ... when we returned in sight of the building, the light was was already gone. I was disappointed by that part, which could have been amazing. Timing is important and part of the experience; I was expecting that the captain was monitoring the tour so that we could capture the beauty of the sunset light shining the city with gold. Valerie

Hi Valerie, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Sorry you were disappointed in the sunset, I tried to get a good sail in, see some sea life and have a nice ride. Unfortunately the sun is a little farther north in the sky at sunset this time of year so we don't see the buildings light up as the sun sets, we won't start to see that for another month or so as the sun starts to move south in the sky giving the proper angle for a beautiful city reflection. Hopefully we can try again during that time.

This experience was marvelous! The ambiance was romantic and an unexpected wonder. The gentleman that took us sailing was pleasant to deal with and easy going. There were no harsh rules to worry about. The weather was perfect and the timeframe brought an amazing sunset that revealed the beauty of nature. Wine and a snack was supplied as well. The chilly weather on the way back made a great invitation to get cozy with a warm blanket and the love of my life.😉 This experience is definitely one I want to revisit soon!
