What To Expect

Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park

Scenic Stop 1- West & East Mitten View Scenic Stop 2- John Ford's Point & Three Sister's Monument Scenic Stop 3- Navajo Hogan Visit & Navajo rug weaving demonstration. Scenic Stop 4- Moccasin Arch, Big Hogan Arch & Live Performance Scenic Stop 5- Sun's Eye & Anasazi Petroglyphs/Ruins Scenic Stop 6- Totem Pole Monument Scenic Stop 7- North Window or Artist's Point Their will be a minimum of 5-10 minutes at each scenic stop to explore and take photos.

Larry Team was our Guide, and he was wonderful is so many ways. He is a real Navajo, and told us stories from tribal tradition about their origins, mythology, and traditions. He drummed and sang for us, and took us to all the amazing places (Eye Of The Sun, for instance) in the Monument Valley backcountry. He was careful to drive in a way that kept us comfortable (the roads are quite bumpy). He was charming, serious, yet funny, and really helped us understand the place. I highly recommend you take this tour (although not when it's really windy), and ask for Larry. His tour was everything I had hoped for. A'he'hee, Larry!

Marjory took us on an amazing 3-hour Extended Sunset Tour that we won't soon forget! She pointed out all the unique rock formations, helped us scope out the perfect photo spots, reminded us to bring a blanket so we'd stay warm and happily shared her vast knowledge of the area. We highly recommend her, Monument Valley Tribal Tours and I'm guessing just about any tour they take you on. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

incredible experience. Our tour guide was Sandrea. Not only was she very knowledgeable she was very helpful in showing us the best places to stand to get the best pictures of the area. We would certainly take a tour of the Valley with her again
