Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park

Scenic Stop 1- West & East Mitten View Scenic Stop 2- John Ford's Point & Three Sister's Monument Scenic Stop 3- Navajo Hogan Visit & Navajo rug weaving demonstration. Scenic Stop 4- Moccasin Arch, Big Hogan Arch & Live Performance Scenic Stop 5- Sun's Eye & Anasazi Petroglyphs/Ruins Scenic Stop 6- Totem Pole Monument Scenic Stop 7- North Window or Artist's Point Their will be a minimum of 5-10 minutes at each scenic stop to explore and take photos.

We went on a fantastic sunset tour of Monument Valley. Our guide, Sandrea, was extremely knowledgeable about the mesas and buttes in the park, Navajo people, culture, and art, and the best places to get the perfect photo! She was a great storyteller so made the tour both educational and lots of fun. A highlight of our tour was at one of the stops where she sang a traditional Navajo song and played 2 beautiful songs on her recorder. It was a very memorable experience and we highly recommend the sunset tour with Sandrea.

Was able to view areas in back country not available to personal auto. The guide was very knowledgeable and shared Navajo legends and beliefs. The group was small and we made a number of stops to allow for pictures. We were also able to see Navajo homesteads in the area not open to the general public. Guide also shared with us personal photos of the night sky taken in the back country.

Sandrea was an amazing tour guide! Plenty of stops for photos, and telling us all about the different buttes and mesas, and about the navajo traditions. Really glad we decided to book a tour, and that we booked this one!
