I didn't want this tour to end. Partially because the sun hadn't set yet, and it would have been nice to actually see it while out in the backcountry with our group. But the tour ended before the actual sun set. But regardless, Roz was great, super chill and easy to talk with. It was nice seeing parts of the area most others don't get to see. I wish there was a longer, more in-depth tour. My only other complaint was that most of the group was late because of a long line at the gate. But, those of us that were on time got cheated out of some of the overall time because of it. But all in all, highly recommended.

Thank you so much for the great review! We are sorry about the late groups showing up. During this time of year it happens quite a bit due to the long entrance line. Hopefully they find a way to make this line go faster in the future! Thanks again for your detailed review.

I did the group tour in the open air trucks with a local Navajo guide named Reever. Monument Valley is stunning and the info he gave that you wouldnā€™t get by driving solo was fantastic. When we were in spots with other groups, the guides worked with each other taking turns speaking and playing the flute and singing. You can do a drive on your own through Monument Valley but I recommend this in addition to that. He also did a small sand demonstration showing how the valley was formed and I loved that. It was well worth it!!
