All ages 5 to 95 are welcome.

Surf experience and knowledge are very important. Teaching surf requires not only communication skills and recreation experience, but years of surf dedication. True surfing excellence comes from spending thousands of hours in the ocean, surfing different types of waves, and facing difficult conditions. We are a family owned and operated business with 40 years of surf dedication and experience. We are happy to share our experience with you by providing the highest quality Professional Surf Lessons.

Our team of certified surf instructors have vast knowledge in surf, oceanography, and surf forecast. They are CPR, first aid, and water safety certified with credentials and background required to teach surf. All instructors go through a long and intense period of training to ensure they exceed EZride Surf School’s standards. Our goal is to have you surfing in a comfortable and confident way. We will help you learn to surf in a safe atmosphere.

What's Included

All Surfing Equipment Necessary. Surf board, surf board leash, surfing rashguard, surfing wetsuit (in winter), and surf wax.

Marcello is amazing. Me, my wife and four others decided to take a surf lesson for the first time while vacationing in Hollywood, FL. All of us were quite apprehensive about what we could achieve in one lesson and whether we would even be able to get on the surf board. However, not only did we manage to get on but we also rode a few waves all the way through. Marcello is extremely patient and explained to each person clearly what they needed to correct. He explained the importance of being one with the ocean and respecting it. He was extremely cheerful, professional and had all the equipment ready for us when we met him. Definitely recommend taking a lesson with Marcello.

Marcello is great. I took one lesson with a different surf coach in Fort Lauderdale before finding Marcello...I'm glad I found Marcello. With his help, I went from a total beginner to beginner-intermediate very quickly. And most importantly, he helped improve my confidence, something that I think can make or break someone's ability and willingness to continue to surf. Marcello is punctual, professional, he takes a credit card if need-be (but I prefer to pay him cash), he picks the right surf breaks depending on your skill level, and he's just a nice guy. Sometimes I text Marcello for a local surf report. Other times, even when I'm not taking a lesson, if he sees me at a local surf break, he affirms the things I'm doing correctly, while pointing out things I could improve on with valuable advice. Surfing is about much more than catching a wave: it's about choosing the right board to ride for your skill level and type of wave you're surfing; navigating yourself on a board in the water (even when paddling out); establishing your position in the lineup; knowing how tides affect the surf breaks; taking care of your surfboard; and ways to improve your surfing when you are not in the water (exercises etc.). Marcello will guide you through all of this. As someone who has lived at, and surfed, the most famous surf breaks in the world in Hawaii, Marcello is a skilled and experienced instructor.

My three kids (13, 11, 8) and I took a lesson with Marcello. He was fabulous! Explained things well, had all of the gear necessary, stayed in the water the entire time, making sure we all caught a ton of waves. He gave great feedback and helpful tips. I was smiling from ear to ear even after wipeouts and failed attempts. We were all able to stand up and ride waves back to the shore. It was so much fun! The waves were manageable and the sun was out. Best way to spend a couple of hours ever!!

Not many sports provide such joy even in failed attempts. The ocean is truly an amazing place.
