This was a fun way to try something new! Our instructor Harrison was very nice and patient and successfully got two teens up on surfboards! It was terribly cold that morning - like 60 degrees and they only had one wetsuit available (there were three of us). So I would say the preparation wasn't quite there- our 8am lesson was rescheduled from the previous day due to choppy conditions at our original time. So things were a bit disorganized at the beginning, life happens. But we got the lesson in, my daughter and her friend had a blast and we got a couple of great photos out of it. I would say that the photo package is a bit high priced, but you gotta get the good photos taken if everyone is surfing and you definitely want the memories!

I've never surfed or knew anything about surfing. This taught me how to balance and pop up on the board with a great teacher to see what I need to focus on to help me be better the next time! I did the private lesson option. The water was a bit cold so the instructor lent me a wet suit! Definitely consider a wet suit if you plan on being in the water for awhile! Waters were about mid 60s I think I was told. I'm not sure what Temps are other times, but better to stay prepared! I had a lot of fun and hope to try surfing more in the future. The people are pretty cool!

Harrison was a great instructor. He gave a 2 hour surf lesson to my 2 teenage kids. Such a friendly guy and blended the perfect amount of instruction and fun.
