You MUST be able to swim
Please wear a bathing suit and bring a towel. Sun protection such as sunscreen is strongly advised
Lessons are not private however the price does vary based on the number of guests per booking

Excellent staff and instruction! I haven’t been on a surfboard in years but for a few hours I was 16 again. If you’re staying at the Double Tree, stop by their shack at the pier and ask for Otto! ;)

I went surfing for 5 hours with an amazing Instructor who was very experienced with surfing the waves. I hadn’t swam in 3 years and I haven’t actually gone into the ocean before. I have never been so in love before either. The water was beautiful, calm, and exhilarating at the same time. It was such an adrenaline rush and the atmosphere that (Tim) my instructor set was rock solid. He was kind, caring, and very informational. Every question I had he had an answer for it and after each wave carried me and I was caught by the water the instructor always made sure I was okay even though I was smiling and laughing the fall off he still wanted to be safe and not kidding he would always have amazing advice to help me catch the next one and ride it a bit longer! It was an experience I will never forget! I plan on coming back the next time I vacation and stopping by there everyday to go surf. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience and I cannot wait to come back! -S Ps. Advice for the reader! Use one of their surfboards. I had bought my own, but as a beginner I didn’t know how to use it to the best of its ability! In fact I wasn’t actually able to stand on it. Lol! With surfing I learned that it’s great to start off with a larger board than a smaller one!

This place is awesome, the people are great, it was a lot of fun and can not recommend this place enough. Everyone was very nice and fun and it was a blast. Definitely recommend this place.
