So happy with my surf lesson, I needed to write this review! I had an early morning surf lesson with Chris as the instructor - so fun and encouraging! I am not an athletic person - (5000 steps a day is a good day for me lol!) and yet I was able to get out onto the water with Chris's instructions and actually ride some waves! Whoot! He was patient and gave great instructions to improve my chances at success - he encouraged us as fellow students in a group session to encourage each other and kept the lesson fun and playful for everyone. One of the highlights of my trip to Hawaii for sure!

Chris our Instructor was great. He took the time to explain everyyin detail and i caught a bunch of waves! I would strongly recommend him to others!!

Lee was a great teacher/instructor. Everyone in Big Wave Dave was chill, friendly and welcoming. We had a wonderful, weather was great - and the surfing experience was memorable. Definitely would recommend this shop and come back again
