My 12 year old son and my husband did this and had a blast. The instructor was patient and helped my son a lot. All in all it made a great impact on our vacation experience!

The instructor was super nice!! The environment and atmosphere they created was super welcoming and they were really patient. They take their time breaking down everything. Definitely recommend taking surf lessons with these guys!!

Dave the owner is a horrible person and our experience with him and his shop was terrible. This ad does not mention this is a GROUP LESSON WITH 7 other new learners! Our son has been taking private lessons for 2 weeks at other islands and shops and this was our first experience with this shop. Upon arrival at his shop, Dave was rude by treated us extremely poorly. When I told him $129/hr is the going rate for private lessons and since our son already was advanced in surfing, he did not want to take the beginners group lesson being offered, Dave blew up and started yelling at me in front of my family, his employees and other customers telling me to call Viator to cancel?! We left with utter disbelief about this awe-full experience and called another surf shop to schedule private lessons for our son. His false and misleading advertisement to unsuspecting travelers like us is deplorable, and is behavior in treating his first-time customers gets the worst rating I can give to him and his shop!
