I had a fun and good time with Josh as teacher. We were a group of four and it was managed to get all of us to stand on the board.

My grandchildren just took surfing lessons from them. We are extremely upset and will never recommend them to anybody. Our 10 year old granddaughter was literally left by herself out in the ocean when her group went in. They never counted the number of people to make sure they had everyone. She was scared and crying on her board alone with no one around her. Petrified parents and grandparents looking for her on the beach. She yelled for help and thank God stayed with her board. She finally found another group and they helped her in. Big Dave took no responsibility and said she should have watched for them. Thank God it had a happy ending and she knew to look for help. It could have been devastating end of vacation.

Our kids did the lessons - the range in age from 11-17 - and had a great time. I wish there would have been a 3rd instructor due to the size of the group but it was safe and the 2 they had were great. They spent a solid hour out in the ocean which we thought was great. The only thing I didn’t love and honestly this has nothing to do with the crew & more so the waves, was the distance from the shore to observe.
