I had the absolute best experience taking a group surf lesson with Big Wave Dave Surf Co. The 1.5-hour lesson was the highlight of my Honolulu trip. The instructors prioritize safety and made me feel very safe and secure even though it was my first time surfing. They greatly encouraged learning; I feel confident about surfing on my own going forward. (I stood up on my board at least 5 times! hehe.) They took us to a great spot with amazing views of Diamond Head. Everyone in the group bonded and had a fun, safe, educational time. Mahalo!

Great teacher, really helpful. Like having a friend show you how. The other person in my group said she learned more before we went into the water than in all of her last lesson somewhere else.

Our instructor Paul was a genuine dude! Really ensured we were able to get up and catch a good wave. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS AT THIS PLACE! Very memorable experience and left feeling totally safe and in good hands
