My 13 year old son got up right away and said it was because the instructors helped so much. They were in the water for a solid 2 hours.

my son who is 190 pounds loved it and could keep up my daughter who is 125pounds struggled greatly..

Aloha Lindsey, this is a ocean activity..... we are going surfing ........why would you say this is a scary experience.... some people do not have the body strength and endurance....... I'm sure you got great customer service.....and your kids had a good time, enjoying the beautiful scenery..... hope you can enjoy hawaii.....mahalo.

Chris was the instructor for my 4 grandchildren and he was AMAZING! The kids loved him. His smile and laugh was contagious and quelled the nerves of 1st timers. The youngest (13)and the only girl rode more waves than the guys 😄. They all enjoyed it very very much. Money well spent. Paying for their surf lesson was my gift to myself and I definitely would do it again. For the kids one of the highlights of my lifelong dream of visiting the beautiful friendly state.
