Our group of seven beginners (three adults and fours kids, ages 9-13) all enjoyed private and semi private lessons with their experienced surf instructors. Hard to say anything more than the good things that have already been written about this company! Friendly, encouraging, enthusiastic and professional staff made our surf lessons one of the vacation highlights of our trip. Big thank you!

We had a great experience. The instructors were patient and very encouraging. They gave clear instructions and suggestions to help everyone get up and ride the wave. We had an awesome time. Highly recommend Big Wave Dave!

Great location, just off of Waikiki beach. Coffee shop has delicious drinks and snacks. Staff at the surf shop are friendly and knowledgable. Our surf instructors were fun, informative and patient. Our family of 6 had a great experience with lessons. We rented equipment another day to surf Waikiki on our own. All round, excellent experience. Highly recommend BWD. No matter what your previous experience is.
