I asked a local guide where to go for a surf lesson, he suggested Big Wave Dave and it did not disappoint! My instructor was Josh who was amazing, he was so easy going and a great teacher. I stood up on my third try and got the hang on it from there. Paddling out was the hardest part for me so Josh would come and 'taxi' me back out Highly recommend

Great lesson got up 2nd try. On the 4th try rode wave for 40 seconds cody was an awesome teacher. The surfing was filmed and photographed wich i purched.

We took a surfing lesson at BWD and it was a blast! First we had safety instructions and then a paddling/pop up drill before heading out to the beach. Me and my girlfriend took a semi private lesson with one of the instructors (uncle Kevin) and we headed out with the super big and wide softtop boards into the waves. My GF had never tried surfing before and with the instructions from our teacher she managed to ride her first wave ever! It was such an awesome experience!
