As someone who only recently learned to swim, I was a little nervous about getting in the ocean but Chris was an amazing guide, making sure everyone was safe and but also having a good time. Was able to ride several waves while on the water and got better with each pass. TIP: Get the rash guard, you will want it. Also, make sure when paddling against waves you brace the board with your hands and not your body weight. Otherwise, you will have sore ribs and knees for a couple of days.

Our instructors were these two guys both super funny and sweet, I forgot their names unfortunately but they made surfing really fun and easy to learn. They help you catch a bunch of waves and not be afraid. I would recommend this to everyone who plans on visiting Honululu
