Our guide was very nice & attending the choir performance at the Tabernacle was wonderful, but the rest of the tour was way too long. It was a 6 to 6-1/2 hour tour, & there’s just not that much to see in SLC. We learned when all the important buildings were started & completed in the city - really?? That’s just not interesting to us.

We were blown away by the performance of the Tabernacle Choir. We got to see them perform their weekly TV and Radio performance live. The acoustics in the Tabernacle are perfect and the singers and orchestra are very professional-like. The crowd was in awe. Such obvious devotion and passion showed clearly on the part of all the choir and orchestra members. And the church stewards and volunteers we met from all parts of the world made our visit all the more special and enjoyable. One should not miss this experience when in Salt Lake and it is sufficiently impressive enough to be a reason alone to travel there. The remainder of the Tour through Salt Lake City is well done also with stops at the state Capitol Building, the University of Utah complex, the Pony Express memorial and more. We consider our money on this tour well spent!
