An underwhelming experience would be an understatement. Crowded, unorganized, and unfriendly staff. Music was not great but the guy at least tried. Getting drinks is incredibly cumbersome and there is no agenda to see the sunset from a nice vantage point. Crew just goes through the motions. Captain shouts at all of the staff and basically says to parents to tie your kids down. Not enjoyable.

To me any time on the water is a great experience!
It didn’t turn out to be a good night for viewing sunsets because the cloud cover was so heavy but it was raining or so windy you couldn’t be comfortable. The boat is large and watching the staff and volunteers raise the sails was fun.
The brief down side to the night was when they “opened the bar”…a make shift table at the front of the boat where canned beer and wine was offered from a cooler. They had one member from the staff handling sales with calculator in hand and people lined up on both sides of the boat. I was paying for views of sunset not people’s butts in my face yet for some time that was my only view. Surely they could do this set up at both ends of the boat and have someone help here. And canned wine? Did you collect the .15 deposit from us and ask us to deposit the cans in the bin so you could return them and get everyone’s .15 per can back? Get real wine!
Would I do this again! Definitely! I would find a better place to sit so butts wouldn’t be in my face! Met a great family from MI also!

This was a beautifully calming sail on the water. It was relaxing with the most amazing views. This was the first sunset we had seen while in Bar Harbor and seeing it above the water was breathtaking.
