Claude has been my instructor over this last summer season, you won't find a more knowledgeable, competent and safe pilot wether you are learning or wanting to fly tandem, would recommend him to anyone.

I bought this excursion for my boyfriend for his birthday. We have both done paragliding before and he has also done solo hang gliding. We met the pilot sat by himself on the beach, he then asked us to drive our own car up a windy path up to a satellite station. We then had to shimmy down a dirt path to the 'take off area'. This area was a steep dirt hill above a cliff, which in our opinion would be suitable for experienced paragliding pilots - as opposed to a tourist wanting to enjoy a beginners tandem flight. He told my boyfriend to run, then apparently told him to stop - although neither myself nor my boyfriend heard this. The last thing I saw of this flight was my boyfriend plummeting down the cliff edge into bushes and rocks attached to the pilot. They went over a boulder and through two lines of bushes before stopping entangled in the third. Luckily, neither of them required medical attention. I do not feel that this location was appropriate for a tourist. The terrain was not appropriate for two people strapped together to run down from. The other reviews reiterate this. I wish that I had not purchased this as a present for him and am doubtful that I will receive a refund.

this bad review that was last year when I left for Costa Rica and hired a pilot that was apparently not good enough and since then I work alone and do all the flights. I fly about 1000 people a year and I have a perfect safety record but that pilot did not… Can you remove that review?

If you are a thrill seeker, you will not find really anything that measures up to the breathtaking and spectacular ride that you will get with Claude. This guy has been paragliding for more than 20 years and knows how to keep you aloft in a thermal, hovering high over the pacific coast canyons. I have done skydiving, bungee jumping, helicopter tours and every amusement park ride that involves heights… this is just simply the most enjoyable way to be up high, moving slowly enough to take in the gorgeous views, and feeling completely safe with an experienced, knowledgeable, and friendly pilot. Short of becoming Superman or Ironman, you are just not going to find a way to duplicate this flight experience. I have already referred customers to clod, and I will continue to refer customers, probably on a daily basis, because I enjoyed this experience that much. As for price… As I mentioned, I have done skydiving, helicopter tours, and bungee jumping, and the money I spent on this ride was worth every cent. In fact, within 10 minutes after I finished my very first ride, we were in the car and headed back up to the summit for a second ride. Claude will surely remember me, since I would not stop raving from the second the flight started until the second I got in my car to drive away. Amazing. Astounding. Exhilarating. Spectacular.
