We conclude this tour with a Chocolate Elixir at Chokola to weave in the art of chocolate making by owners Deb and Javier who are passionate about every step in the process of their decadent sipping chocolate, truffles, mousses and tarts! Angelisa provided an excellent introduction to the history of the artist movement in Taos. Painters, weavers and pottery were featured in the multiple stops along this walking tour. The last stop was an artisan chocolate shop that provided divine samples of their products. Highly recommend.

You can probably drive through Taos and never know there is so much history. This is why I am so thankful I signed up for Heritage Inspirations' Artisan Walking Tour! Our guide, Lesley, was fantastic; she ensured that we had a unique and enlightening experience. The entire experience was like Lesley introducing us to all her friends, all of whom were welcoming and eager to share their bit. Some highlights of the tour included visiting the Couse-Sharp Historic Site and the chocolate stop at the end. Last but not least, I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Rich, one of the Taos artists during this tour. He's just an all-around amazing human being. If you have an appreciation for art and the history of Taos, don't think twice about this tour!

Your first few sentences say it all! One of the best things about travel in our opinion is getting off the beaten path and discovering things you may not have seen otherwise. We appreciate this review so much because you articulate it so well! Lesley, Couse-Sharp, and Chokola are wonderful for sure. And yes Rich is an all-around amazing human being with a big presence and upbeat demeanor. You can't help but be moved by being in the same room with him. Glad you got to experience this and we look forward to seeing you in New Mexico again very soon! All the best, The Heritage Inspirations Family
