What a wonderful tour! Katie, our tour guide, was so pleasant, funny, and full of amazing knowledge about Taos, the history, all the awesome connections between the area and the artists that were so influential here in Taos. I was both inspired and energized by her passion for sharing this knowledge! We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the history of this area as well as the architecture and artisan flair. We had the opportunity to visit several galleries with different types of art, jewelry, textiles and had the curator of the gallery or the artist/owner herself to tell us about the collection. In one gallery we had a demonstration of weaving textiles using a wooden loom. How cool! Even during this restricted time of COVID-19 where some of the parts of the tour had to be modified (state mandate to close museums), we still felt like we got a lot out of the tour. We appreciated all the efforts to follow NM state orders and CDC guidelines and felt very comfortable the entire time. The grand finale was tasting some AMAZING chocolate and getting to choose a treat to enjoy as part of the tour cost. It was really neat to learn about the process of making chocolate, we had no idea! We would highly recommend taking this tour upon arrival to Taos, it is a great way to get to know the history and get a great orientation of Taos. Fun, informal, super friendly and knowledgeable tour guide - it’s a no brainer! Book yours! Thanks Katie for a remarkable tour!

This is my second trip with Angelisa and Heritage Inspirations and once again, it did not disappoint! Hearing the stories of iconic Taos Pueblo while walking around the historic ground is an experience not to be missed. I had never been to the Millicent Rogers museum and I am now in love, what a woman! The museum has an incredible collection of artifacts that is not to be missed, I could spend all day weaving through the many rooms of goodies. Of course wrapping up at Chokola is the ultimate treat. I have loved Taos for many years, but seeing it through Angelisa's eyes and hearing her wealth of knowledge creates a whole new perspective. A day with Heritage Inspirations is a day to remember. I can't wait for my next trip!
