R.C. Gorman was the first Native American to have his own gallery. He was Taos most famous and successful artist.

Absolute vault of information about the early and current Taos. He is so fun and easy to be, you will want to stop here with him first to learn the area.... he guides you to things you would not know existed without him.

Sam's knowledge of Taos past and present is best described as encyclopedic . Historic sites and characters were brought to life with his easygoing commentary, assisted by his portfolio of photographs, prints and sketches - including several of his own. In the vicinity of the plaza, he introduced us to several galleries and their owners and provided excellent advice on other attractions around Taos . A 'must do' for anyone visiting this remarkable town.

Sam was an excellent guide. He is a wealth of knowledge about Taos and the surrounding area. I would take a tour with Sam anytime.
