Our guide made history come alive. He was very knowlegeable and was well prepared with a set of photographs that he used during his tour.

The guide never showed up. When we called Viator customer service to request a refund, we were told the guide cancelled the tour due to bad weather. That could not have been the truth. It was a beautiful day-clear skies and sunshine! To add insult to injury, no one (neither the guide or Viator) even notified us that the tour was cancelled

There was bad weather in the area and more predicted in the forecast. Viator was notified but they were slow to tell the customer or didn't tell them in time. If last minute changes are necessary in the future we'll start texting the customer directly or calling them, if their phone number is available. Apologies.

Our tour guide Sam was great, very friendly and knowledgeable, and brought with him photos and fun references. Great stories and history we learned that we wouldn't have heard just walking around on our own. Definitely recommended this walking tour!
