Tasty Global Bites is a walking food tour of Nolita (North of Little Italy). This tour is offered for foodies (visitors and locals alike) looking to try global cuisine. On this 3 hour tour you will enjoy 6 amazing tastings, 3 seated and 3 on-the-go as your knowledgeable tour guide entertains you with exciting stories and secrets of the area's past and the ever changing food scene.

The six tastings feature a Spanish churro sandwich, NYC pizza with a twist, falafel, mouthwatering fresh Sicilian pasta, Onigiri (Japanese rice ball) and a scrumptious dessert, gelato. Some tastings are on-the-go as we aim to see as much as possible of the neighborhoods in 3 hours’ time. Wine is offered to guests 21 and older at the seated pasta tasting.

What To Expect

Nolita

Discover a scrumptious NYC neighborhood, Nolita (north of Little Italy) on this three-hour food and walking tour. You will begin your tour at a popular churrerira. Your friendly guide will provide you with an in-depth introduction to the neighborhood and an overview of the tour while you enjoy a fresh hot churro breakfast sandwich. From there, you will explore Nolita, visit historical landmarks and continue your culinary journey. You will taste Israeli falafel, a classic spin on NYC pizza, fresh homemade Sicilian pasta (with an option to enjoy a glass of wine), authentic gelato and Japanese rice balls (onigiri). This tour is ideal for those looking to taste a variety of cuisine all within three hours’ time. Finally, each participant is provided with a helpful handout at the beginning of the tour which includes a list of all the tastings and recommendations.

WOW!! There are so many food tours in NYC, and did we hit the jackpot with the one we chose! Liz and Alana were professional, knowledgeable, fun and kind! It was wonderful to try places we never would have found on our own. So thankful for such an amazing experience!!

This tour is amazing. Liz, our guide, was very personable and knowledgeable. We had an array of delicious food from various ethnicities (and plenty to fill you up). We enjoyed learning history of the Nolita and walking around to see it. I also love this is a woman owned small business. I highly recommend the tour!
