Taste of SLO - Uptown Mojo Walking Food Tour

Overview

Experience the upbeat and intriguing uptown "Mojo" area of San Luis Obispo by tasting your way through five unique restaurants. You may taste french style rotisserie meats, local grown produce, elote off the cob, local beer, chocolate shakes, speciality cocktails, clam chowder, thai food etc. This tour includes all food and alcoholic drinks, no surprise expenses here! Tours are approx three hours, walking a total of 1.5 miles. This tour is suitable for flexitarians, pescatarians, and omnivores. We can not fully accommodate vegetarians or vegans at this time. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions. This tour includes a a moderate amount of walking and we recommend wearing comfortable foot wear, and a light layer as evening temperatures drop quickly. We will be visiting 5 destinations in total.

This was my second tour with Taste of SLO and I’m already planning my third tour! Angee was fabulous helping me plan this tour since I had a large group and everyone was paying individually. Our tour guide, Victoria, was exceptional! She gave us such great information about SLO and truly made everyone feel like they were her best friend. Let’s talk about the food and drinks. WOW!! We went to 5 stops on our tour, all of which I haven’t been to before (and I’m a long time local). I love that each stop on the tour is hand picked and every place has such a moving back story. They are all local businesses who within themselves support other small town local businesses. It’s a win win for everyone! We are looking forward to the new tour in 2022!!!

I am a North County local that fully enjoyed the Mojo walking tour! As someone that thought she know SLO, I was thrilled to go to five amazing stops that I had never been to before. The walking tour was both educational and a blast. We had incredible food and drinks at every stop, and Victoria was phenomenal. Her energy was contagious and her knowledge of the restaurants we visited and stops along the way got me excited to learn more about SLO. Everyone on the tour was great to talk to, and I made some really great connections. I would definitely recommend this tour to locals, visitors, and especially anyone that recently moved to the area.
