Overview

Experience the upbeat and intriguing uptown "Mojo" area of San Luis Obispo by tasting your way through five unique restaurants. You may taste french style rotisserie meats, local grown produce, elote off the cob, local beer, chocolate shakes, speciality cocktails, clam chowder, thai food etc. This tour includes all food and alcoholic drinks, no surprise expenses here! Tours are approx three hours, walking a total of 1.5 miles. This tour is suitable for flexitarians, pescatarians, and omnivores. We can not fully accommodate vegetarians or vegans at this time. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions. This tour includes a a moderate amount of walking and we recommend wearing comfortable foot wear, and a light layer as evening temperatures drop quickly. We will be visiting 5 destinations in total.

Absolutely awful. We couldn’t find a babysitter and had zero help moving the date. Awful customer service, lost money.

I beg to differ. You texted me the day before the tour wanting to change the date. I texted you back telling you to contact Viator to change your booking. You paid and booked thru Viator, not Taste of SLO directly. I cannot adjust your bookings made through a 3rd party. You waited until the next day, mere hours before the tour to contact Viator. Viator told you since the tour was happening in 3 hours, you couldn’t amend the date. I am a small business struggling to reopen after covid. I guarantee guest counts to our business partners in advance, so they know how many guests to prepare tastings for. I pay the tour destinations 24 hours in advance. They make food for you, whether you’re there or not. I also explained this to you over the phone. Then you hung up on me. Bad customer service? I think not. I tried to help you and you simply procrastinated. Best wishes to you, Angee

The fiancé and I just left and OMG!! We had the best group ever!! This is such a when strangers become friends type or deal. Story telling, food telling, the excitement and nervousness of what’s next are all wrapped in this tour.. I love any small business that supports other small business and shares history about the restaurant location, culture creating the dish, and dish itself. A highly recommended activity for locals and visiting folks let me tell you!
