I took this tour in the afternoon with Jerry. He did a fantastic job of sharing the history of the market, while taking us around to see the local merchants and sample their wares. Truly knowledgeable and friendly, I never felt like an outsider on this tour. I would highly recommend this for anyone who likes markets and is also a foodie. Will definitely visit a few of these spots again before I leave town.

Met our guide, Marcia. She was very informative and she knew the history of Pike Market well. If we didn't take this tour, we wouldn't have tried many of the vendors there. We highly recommend this tour.

Marcia knows her stuff!! She is peppy, never boring, and knows everyone in the market it seems! With her ability to make on-the-fly adjustments (to suit the needs of everyone on the tour), everyone was comfortable, and we even got a couple extra tastings (since the group was relatively small - impossible to plan, but nice if it happens!). The history of the Market was fascinating to see unfold throughout the tour, and added nicely to the food portion of the tour. No need to take notes - that same evening, she'll email you the entire route, with every stop and every sampling listed out, so you can return and find your favorite stop again!
