This looked amazing online, and really could have been fun, but it was not as advertised at all. Most, if not all, of the video reviews are made by people who were paid to make them. The things below are things that happened to us, but they obviously impacted everyone on the bus as well.
1. The bus arrived more than an hour late. This might not sound like that big of a deal, but the waiting area is just the sidewalk in the middle of downtown. It was forty degrees out, so we (and all of the other people who were going to board) had to wait in the Waffle House across the street. The employees were not pleased. It was also a problem because many of us had commitments after that we had to cancel (as the hour and a half tour was turned into a two and a half hour ordeal), and the staff did not apologize for the wait at all until people started asking about it. Not only this, we didn't receive notification that the bus was going to be late until 20 minutes after it was supposed to be there, and the text said that the delay would only be 30 minutes.
2. We purchased the Luxe tickets with a Valentine's day package, which included priority serving, roses, and improved food. We were served last with every item, the tea included, which meant that the tea was almost empty by the time it got to us both times. We ended up getting probably two ounces of tea each, total. Also, there were supposed to be three teas, and they only served two. Finally, we did not receive all of the food shown on the menu and neither of us got a rose.
3. The bus just isn't as nice as it looks online. The bathroom was worn down and the faucet didn't work, the sound system constantly crackled in and out, and our cupholders were constantly coming out of the table with our cups. Also, the food isn't made on the bus, so it's really not great by the time you get it.
I bought the tickets because I wanted to give my girlfriend a luxury experience, and it is advertised (and priced!) as a luxury experience. It is not a luxury experience. It is slightly less nice than a normal tour bus, and the company is just unprofessional. When I reached out about our experience, they offered me nothing even though I didn't receive everything I purchased. After many emails, the best we got was two free tickets. If you're considering this, consider that the most expensive high tea in Atlanta has great reviews and is slightly less expensive than this, especially when you factor in the fees (A $20 gas fee? Really?) Just do the tea and the tour separately, you will have a far better time.
