Had a great time checking out the George Dickel and Jack Daniel's distilleries with Mint Julep. The tour bus provided by Mint Julep is probably one of the nicest buses I've ever traveled in and the tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly. The tours through the distilleries were very cool and I also enjoyed the spot we stopped at for lunch very much. Overall, I highly recommend this tour group and will definitely return to use their other tour package.

Awesome, laid back way to experience historic TN whiskey distilleries and Southern scenery...plus lunch. Learned a lot even as a local

This is a great deal! The $159 price tag includes a wonderful tour guide on the bus, round-trip transportation, a delicious lunch and admission to both George Dickel and Jack Daniel's distilleries. At each of the distilleries, you’ll have another tour guide to explain each step of the distilling process. The Dickel distillery is a general admission, but the tour at Jack Daniel's is the “premium” Angel’s Share tour; this tour includes a commemorative glass and premium tastings. After the Jack Daniel's tour, the bus takes you to the downtown area where you can show your admission ticket and receive a free Jack Daniel's shot glass with a $10 purchase. Since you are riding (and not driving), you are welcome to drink on the way and back. Mint Julep has only been in town a couple of months; they are based in Kentucky and have a very large operation there. They are working hard to make their mark here in Music City and seem to be doing a fabulous job at that. All the buses are new and very comfortable to ride. Our driver, Mike, was a very safe driver as well. Eric, the tour guide, was awesome! He was very knowledgeable, personable and had a great sense of humor. During the ride to Dickel, Eric talked about the different distilleries, explained the “Lincoln County Process”, told us the difference between bourbon and whiskey and answered every question we had. Don’t worry about getting drunk off the samples. At each place, the “samples” totaled just one whole shot of whiskey. Distilling, I learned, is a fascinating process. I would highly recommend this tour!
