Our first stop was the George Dickel distillery. The tour started late - not sure why. It was a terrific tour and super informative, but the delay affected our timing for the rest of the day. After Dickel, we made our way toward Lynchburg, where we stopped for lunch. The meal was rushed so that we could arrive at Jack Daniel's in time for our scheduled tour. Lunch was nothing special - certainly not what others raved about. At Jack Daniels, our tour guide Jon spoke very quickly (unusual in the South). Combined with his heavy accent and the noise of the distillery equipment, it was often difficult to understand him. By the time the Daniels tour had ended, there wasn't time to visit JD's grave. This was a bit disappointing. Richard was both driver & tour guide, and he was super entertaining & fun. We were undermined by things outside our control, and consequently didn't seem to have the same experience as others before us. But, the day was super enjoyable and interesting anyway, hence the 4 star rating

The four of us had a great time with our Mint Julep hosts. Comfortable and clean bus but our host Richard and driver Dan were really great company. Easy going, Knowledgeable and very funny. We loved both tours in the heart of whisky country. Thanks Richard and Dan - it was a pleasure to meet you.

We did this tour our first day in Nashville Dan our guide was a great guy very knowledgeable and a fun person to be with for the day. The van was clean and comfortable. We visited George Dickel 1st it's a small distillery but great product. The lunch was fantastic and a lot of food/ great choice Mint Julep tours. Jack Daniels distillery is very interesting also and the samples were very good and smooth. Really enjoyed this tour and Dan even gave us a very good suggestion for dinner when we returned A plus!!!!!!!
