Overall I really enjoyed this tour. The food we ate was delicious, the tequila was smooth, and the stories were pretty good too. I enjoyed the route we took during the tour, ending by Casa de Reyes in Old Town. It was a great way to end the tour, because you could hang around listening to live music, do some dancing, and even shopping. I did the tour my first night in San Diego, so it was the perfect way to begin the visit.

Jennifer was a great tour guide! This tour is more about history than eating - not a typical food tour but packed with very interesting information. Our group included native San Diego resident who said they learned lots of new stories. Great way to see Old Town.

We enjoyed the tour despite the poor food and beverage quality. It was a fun way to see Old Town. The margaritas at the first restaurant were very small served in a 4 oz glass full of ice. The second restaurant was tequila shots. The food was good at this one. The last restaurant where we had our “mini meal” was awful. The margaritas were watered down and food not good. Service was also terrible - our tour guide had to get up and request water for the table as the waitress ignored us. I would expect if a tour is called tequila and tacos that we would be getting good food.
