Texas Hill Country and LBJ Tour From Austin

Overview
Explore the scenic backroads of the Texas Hill Country! Learn about Texas cowboys and the great cattle drives of the 1800s. Step back in time at the Lyndon B. Johnson State Park & Historic Site, which is still a working cattle ranch. Pass by award-winning wineries & orchards, before visiting Fredericksburg, a historic & picturesque German town. You will have time on your own to shop (optional), have lunch at an authentic German restaurant & biergarten (optional), or visit one of the many wine tasting rooms (optional). The time in Fredericksburg is on your own, so you can spend this part of the tour as you please. Finally, experience magic & music in Luckenbach, Texas before heading back to Austin.

Tour operator did not show up. Received confirmation 8:12 evening before with pickup time - 9am , and location (hotel). Tried calling starting at 8:45 and then 9:15. office closed, mailbox full, could not leave a message. Did leave an SMS number for callback - none received. At 10:00 got hold of Viator Customer Service, who also tried to contact operator and could not. Waited till 10:30,

The tour guide continuously made inappropriate comments about politics and his “glass-half-empty” view of life.

We apologize if our guide said anything inappropriate. 99 out of 100 times we get very positive reviews of our guides. We have already contacted the guide on you tour and have arranged for re-training on tour content and customer service. One of the areas that we emphasize is that tours are meant to be fun and informative and that guides should keep their personal feelings about things to themselves. I will gladly discuss this matter further with you if you contact me at: [email protected].
