This was our first withlocals tour and it was fantastic. We chose a pizza and pastry kids tour with Rita. Our kids are 10,8,4, and 4, so pleasing everyone can be a challenge, but Rita was up for it! She made us feel at home in a rather busy city and took us off the beaten track to all the best pastry shops in the city. Her knowledge of history, architecture, language, and culture is extensive. We did not ask her a question that she didn't know the answer to. The kids fell in love with Rita as she was able to be attentive and engage all ages, and still keep the tour on track. She went at our pace and was very patient and fun. We learned about so many Naples traditions and what it is like to be a local. Based on this experience we would recommend Naples and Rita to everyone! She truly has a God given gift of hospitality. She walked us back to our cruise ship and upon parting, it was like we were leaving an old friend who we wished was going to join us on all of our travels. Thank you.

This tour was great! I recommend it and also starting time around 11AM through the afternoon. Lots of food and history explained by Paolo which was very knowledgeable, polite, and understanding. You will learn about the city's rich history and it's food. I was very satisfied with this tour and Paolo.

Paolo and Nando brought us through the market place to purchase local ingredients (including some unique to Naples), then ventured up to a very local flat and prepared a fantastic meal. As Paolo pointed out, there are two kinds of cooks: those who measure everything, and those who use their imagination! Paolo and Nando are certainly the later -- they sing and dance while teaching the cooking class. Lots of great memories and excellent insight. :)
