This guided float trip is perfect for those who aren’t quite ready for big rapids, but still enjoy the outdoors. Children as young as 3 years-old are welcome on this introductory white water rafting trip, as well as non-swimmers and rafting beginners. This float trip offers you plenty of chances to relax and even take a dip in the river!
***THE FAMILY FLOAT TRIPIS IS FOR GROUPS WITH SMALL CHILDREN UNDER 8 YEARS OLD. IF YOUR GROUP IS ALL AGES 8 AND ABOVE (EVEN IF YOUR GROUP HAS NEVER BEEN RAFTING BEFORE) WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND CALLING.

A group of six of us went white water rafting for our first time. We rafted on the lower pigeon river portion. Amelia was our guide. She was wonderful. Instructions were clear re rowing. We had a great time. Nothing to be nervous about. We ended up buying water shoes in the shop as we were not prepared. The shoes cost an affordable $13, which we all appreciated. The car keys were locked up with the staff, so we didn't have to worry about lost keys. The business is run very efficiently. A lot of fun. I highly recommend it.

I would absolutely recommend this trip. We actually did both trips. First timers can do the upper. We had the best guide-Danger Deb or also known as Spider Deb. She was fun! We had her on both trips. Great company. Great people. Would do it again!

We had a great time, we had two young girls ages 9 and 6 so we opted for the Lower Pigeon River Float trip. Rapids (class 2& one class 3) were appropriate for our girls. We would recommend this trip for 1st timers or those with young children. We did get wet but that was fine with us! We were able to float near the raft for part of the trip, water was not too cold.
