I was a little wary of going to the East side of Portland and felt much better about going with an experienced guide. Got some historical and cultural background, tips on safety, best restaurants for the rest of our stay and the walking tour helped to alleviate some of my anxiety about the area. Highlight was definitely Kachka and trying some flavor profiles I had never experienced before. As a foodie, that's a rare occurrence for me nowadays to taste something completely new. The choices of places and dishes were spot on and at the end I was full but not busting at the gut.

Sherri curated a wonderful food tour for the senses. The Buckman Hood tour is highly recommended. The Portland history narration was a major bonus, as well. We've done food tours in several US cities and this ranks near the top.

My husband and I brought some visiting friends on this tour with Sherri. WE had so much fun and went back home stuffed. It was a nice variety of food and drinks. We will definitely be going back to a couple of the restaurants, so this tour was a great way to get a taste for what they serve. Sherri has a very pleasant way of explaining the food, and the history of Portland throughout our walk. We will definitely be trying another of her tours in the future.
