I really enjoyed the variety of foods we tried. I also enjoyed the time we had to eat at each restaurant. It was a very laid back atmosphere. All of the food was fantastic! Our tour guide did a great job making all of the information fun. I would definitely do this again.

B., Jocelyn told me she had a really chatty group ready to have fun! I'm glad you found the pacing appropriate, as well as all the stories we like to share. And I know the food was great! - Brian

The Carytown food tour was an early Father’s Day present for us! It was something we’ve never done before, but Jocelyn made it fun and it was very knowledgeable for people who have never been to Richmond or are new residents to the area. Our group was on the smaller side, but we were all a perfect fit for one another. The food was amazing, there were many options for people that had food accommodations, and there was enough time to enjoy your meal while also learning some interesting historical knowledge of the buildings. All in all, the Carytown food tour was definitely an amazing experience - highly recommend!!

Glad to hear it, A.! Jocelyn noted how well the small group got along, even though not everyone knew each other when the tour started! - Brian

There were 17 of us on our semi-annual work outing. Katherine, of Carytown Food Tours was an excellent wrangler! We started off at Citizen Burger where we got drinks and a taste of a very delectable burger. Then up the street for some muscles and fritz from Can Can!! Yummy!! She told us some wonderful historic stories about the little shopping center that started the boom in Carytown. Can Can use to be Hoffeimer's Shoe store! Next was Home sweet Home and a crazy good BBQ sandwich with Mac&Cheese on the sandwich and great tomato soup on the side. We stopped in front of Broken Tulip (it was closed because it was Monday) and she talked about how the restaurant came to be and that it was a true "Farm to Table" place. And we finished up at Carytown Cup Cakes for a little desert. Katherine was so fun a personable! We had a great time and even though I've lived in Richmond for over 7 years, I'd never tried 3 out of 4 of the places we went. Because of this outing, I already have a date planned to go back to Citizen Burger and Cary Town Cupcakes. Great fun!!
