Dan was great. I ended up being the o ly person to book for my day so I got a private tour which worked in my favor because we were ahead of schedule the entire time and got to explore more than normal. Great information about the history of the city and the state. We walked pretty far and I didn’t even realize how much ground we actually covered until he pointed out how far away the building where we started was. Popped in a pizza shop at the end of the tour for a beer (provided by tour) and since we were there, I grabbed a slice for myself. Overall the tour was informative and was a great way to spend the day!

Excellent walking tour of St Paul. Saw most significant sites starting at the cathedral and gradually working our way downtown. Most memorable were the different memorials in front of the capital. Our guide Collin was outstanding. Very personable. Ione complaint was the start point is listed as 200 Dayton Ave, not the cathedral. Trying to follow a maps app from downtown I made several wrong turns on foot and almost missed the tour. If the start was listed as the cathedral I would have seen it from the distance and had o problem.

On my first visit to Saint Paul, I had a very informative and fun tour guided by Dan. There were just three of us, and we all enjoy walking tours. Dan was a wealth of knowledge. He answered all our questions and gave us a lot of interesting stories about what we were seeing. I especially enjoyed the cathedral, James Hill house and the others on Summit Ave. It was nice to have an included coffee break at a local coffee house, and end the tour with a local beer at a tavern downtown. Would definitely recommend this tour if you enjoy seeing things you wouldn’t see on a bus tour.
