What To Expect

The Dinner Detective Murder Mystery Dinner Show - Colorado Springs, CO

At The Dinner Detective, you’ll tackle a hilarious and challenging crime while you feast on a fantastic dinner. Just beware! The culprit is hiding in plain sight somewhere in the room, and you may find yourself as a Prime Suspect before you know it! Our engaging and unique murder mystery dinner theatre performances have been playing across the country since 2004. Our show is very different from traditional murder mystery dinner shows. We will hide non-costumed actors in the audience that are pretending to be part of the crowd. This results in a much more social and interactive evening than with other shows. Our shows are set during the present day and take place in real time. Over the course of the night, our costumed Detectives will uncover clues, interrogate audience members that may or may not be part of the show, and help everyone get closer to solving the mystery.

It was my first time in Colorado and this experience was amazing and funny! I enjoyed the food, the show and the atmosphere and the performers were truly amazing. This show is a great way to just get out and have some fun with laughs and drinks.

Some of the audience participants who were not actors were just as entertaining. The profanity was uncalled for and lead to our lower review. Food was just okay.

We're sorry the profanity was not to your liking. Our shows are PG-13 and profanity isn't usually an issue with our actors. We'll check in with our actors and see why there was profanity during this performance. We'll also check in with the hotel and make sure the food is up to standards. Thank you!

It was a good time all around ! If you got lost in conversation with your table mates , you were always brought back and caught up on what was going on! Happy and energetic atmosphere! Will do it again and try at other locations around the country! Thank you
