What To Expect

The Dinner Detective Murder Mystery Dinner Show - Colorado Springs, CO

At The Dinner Detective, you’ll tackle a hilarious and challenging crime while you feast on a fantastic dinner. Just beware! The culprit is hiding in plain sight somewhere in the room, and you may find yourself as a Prime Suspect before you know it! Our engaging and unique murder mystery dinner theatre performances have been playing across the country since 2004. Our show is very different from traditional murder mystery dinner shows. We will hide non-costumed actors in the audience that are pretending to be part of the crowd. This results in a much more social and interactive evening than with other shows. Our shows are set during the present day and take place in real time. Over the course of the night, our costumed Detectives will uncover clues, interrogate audience members that may or may not be part of the show, and help everyone get closer to solving the mystery.

The show and overall experience was a whole lot of fun. The food not so much. We had a great time, but the chicken died in vain.

Wonderful evening of suspense and clues. Well acted and fun participation. The Reaper rocks. Our suspects were well informed, and the Detectives were hilarious.

Went to celebrate my hubby’s Birthday! It was fun. My husband won detective of the night. My only real complaint is it was advertised as a 4 course meal, and it’s really only 3 course. Dessert, salad, entree. I kept expecting the last course to come in, but it never did. However, the food was good and yummy. The acting was fun, and if you want to take my advice, just relax and enjoy the show. Not much will be expected of you! We would go again! Only other add which someone else mentioned too, it didn’t bother us, but there definitely was some language in the script mainly the S word. If that matters to you, just know it’s there beforehand. Overall I would recommend!!!
