Delighted to discover that we (myself and a friend) were the only ones on the tour. Our guide, the lovely Miss Angela, was charismatic, knowledgeable, and very friendly. Not only did she give us a great walking tour, it felt as if Justin and I were merely chatting about ghosts with a friend (one of our favorite subjects, admittedly), and not on a guided tour. Even better, there were no costumes and overly dramatic storytelling, just good solid ghost history. There was even a great show of fireworks above the water which, I'm sure, was arranged just for us (or the Battle of New Orleans bicentennial, semantics). A hundred thanks for the experience, Angela - and thank you for the locals' tip on Croissant D'Or - they indeed had fabulous chocolate croissants & cafe au lait. Thank you again! - vina s. and justin r. of VA/DC.

My husband and I decided to go on a ghost tour one Friday night in between bar hopping. We've been living in New Orleans for over a decade and for one reason or another, never got around to a Haunted History Tour. Boy, were we missing out. We learned things about the city we had no idea about. Our tour guide, Ashton, was entertaining and knowledgable, and absolute delight. I liked that she gave a detailed account of both the legends of particular haunted places, and also a more realistic version of events that may have lead to those legends becoming lore. Overall, a highly entertaining evening. If you're in New Orleans, don't miss out on a Ghost City Tour with Ashton.
