So the tour guide Lee was truly awesome. I throughly enjoyed this trip. I will recommend it to my friends who visit San Antonio! I will say I’m giving it 4 stars for two very specific reasons: 1. I think when they show the images of murder scenes they should tell the crowd these are about to be shown. There’s a difference between talking about hauntings and murders and showing on a tv screen a real image of a bloody murder scene. Just say something like “hey, this is bloody, close your eyes if you’re not into it.” 2. I’ve done ghost tours like this in every city I’ve been in around the world. This one felt long and draggy. I enjoyed it, but maybe cut it down by 30 mins. I was very ready to go. All in all, high recommend this. I just think some small changes can make it even better! It was definitely worth the $55 fee. Thank you!!

The ghost tour starts off at the end of the alley outside the Sisters Grimm shop. There is both a walking tour (1.5 hours) and a Bus tour (2.5 hours). This review is about the Bus tour. You walk from the shop to the Menger hotel. Our guide, Lee, described the history of the hotel, the numerous famous guests, and then theose who died within and have haunted guests since. Lee used an Ipad to show pictures of the deceased. Then Lee described the numerous ghost sightings by guest. Including to be aware of Teddy Roosevelt in the bar trying to get you to sign a contract to join the Rough Riders. Then you walk through the hotel going out the back and you join the bus, driven by Chet. The bus is painted up with a motif of the ghost tour. Very comfortable with Air conditioning. There is a large TV screen at the front of the bus that is connected to a computer that helps demonstrate locations, photos of people who came back as ghosts. There is a gruesome story of a lady who was murdered in the sheraton hotel. There are stories of the children's hospital and the cemeteries that had to be moved. Other stops include the old Bexar jail, the cemetery before returning back to the Menger hotel. Very entertaining and educational. Not for young children.

Lee and CiCi were our guides and they did an excellent job. The stories inside the Menger Hotel were amazing. The pictures and videos along the tour added a lot to the experience. The story from the old jail was very creepy. As a skeptic of supernatural activity, they definitely left me wondering!
