We purchased a brandnew 13 inch 2020 MacBook Air laptop at this store less than 11 months ago and it cost us almost 1,000 bucks. We have been using it very carefully. Last week, the screen became blurry and I did not know what was going on. Nor was my daughter who mainly used the computer. It was still in the one year warranted time, we took it back to the same store for getting it fixed. To our surprise, the store insisted that an accident happened to the laptop so it was not within the waranteed item. Truly speaking, the laptop has been carefully cared for all the time and we had no clue what the screen became the way it was and we canāt use it unless it was fixed. So the store took it back and fixed it and charged $448 plus tax to get a new screen. I was not happy with the way they charged, more than half the price of a brandnew one by just fixing the blurry of the screen and the laptop was still within the one year guarantee. I felt so sad for my daughter who worked very hard at a retailed store and got her first paycheck this summer and all the paycheck money went into the repair of the laptop screen fixing but that was not enough so I had to transfer $100 from my bank account to hers so the total together could cover the fee that the Apple store charged her for what I think was a very easy and simple fix that should be done for free or much less fee as it was still within the one year guarantee. I felt that even if an insurance was purchased, they still had tons of reasons to charge the clients. The one year ganrantee was just trashed by the store. Do they really value their product quality? If yes, why within less than one year, the screen became problematic and then we had to spend almost 500 bucks to get it fixed? Do they really care about their clients? If yes, why didnāt they trust their clients who had been using the laptop very carefully and never pushed or done anything bad to the laptop? I just told myself, āNever come to this store again. They seem to very warm-hearted when you go there to purchase and they say very beautiful things about their productsā quality and they even make you believe that their warranty is the best in the universe. ā However, when a tiny problem occurs after the purchase, they immediately shake away their responsibilities. Even such a tiny fix, they just charged you $448 plus tax, my daughter
Entire first check working full time at a local store wen into it and I had to add anther $100 to help her pay for the easy fix that should be covered within one year guarantee. But they just made us pay for it. I made a promise, I will never come to this store to buy anything again because I felt their quality cheated us and the employees
there just cared about money but nothing else!!!
