What To Expect

The Official Art Deco Gift Shop

Founded in 1976, The Miami Design Preservation League has proudly offered guided walking tours of The Art Deco District for over 40 years. All Proceeds go towards supporting preservation. Visitors are introduced to the history, architecture, and preservation efforts of Miami Beach. Tour ticket includes free admission to the Art Deco Museum and Gift Shop. There are a limited amount of tickets available for each tour, so early bookings are encouraged . Please arrive 15 minutes prior to tour departure for check-in.

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

I recently did an on demand walking tour with Howard - he is a a great storyteller and so knowledgeable about the history and architecture of South Beach/Miami Beach. I have taken many walking tours with him and hope to take many more. He makes it fun and at the same time educational. I highly recommend Howard as a guide and all the Miami Design Preservation League walking tours.

Martin was a fantastic tour guide. It was a great mix of architectural history and Miami history, mixed with information on building materials, art, and pop culture. Definitely recommend.
