What To Expect

The Official Art Deco Gift Shop

Founded in 1976, The Miami Design Preservation League has proudly offered guided walking tours of The Art Deco District for over 40 years. All Proceeds go towards supporting preservation. Visitors are introduced to the history, architecture, and preservation efforts of Miami Beach. Tour ticket includes free admission to the Art Deco Museum and Gift Shop. There are a limited amount of tickets available for each tour, so early bookings are encouraged . Please arrive 15 minutes prior to tour departure for check-in.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

While researching tour options for our group, as soon as I spoke with Mark from the MDPL, I knew that this was the tour for us. Mark and the MDPL work to raise awareness and resources to save the history and actually physicality of these incredible buildings in South Beach. Not only would this be a great tour, but I was excited to be able to support a non-profit doing important and meaningful work. Leading up to the tour, Mark was awesome to work with and helped me with every detail to make sure that everything was ready to go when we arrived. And during the tour - just wow!! Mark is not only so incredibly knowledgeable, but also an excellent conversationalist, as great energy and is an all around great tour guide. Our group had a blast with him and loved learning from him. Walking around the area we got the sense that Mark knows everyone! It was so fun. We were all truly impressed with the history of the area and how Mark shared with us. There are so many tours like this available in South Beach, but this one is the real deal and you will love it. I look forward to sharing this activity with others who are traveling to South Beach. Thank you Mark and the Miami Design Preservation League.

We had a German lady that was our guide. She did a great job. We've been to South Beach multiple times and I wished that we would have taken this tour sooner!
