This we thought was a must do. The tour to the volcano was cancelled due to the hurricane Nate that had washed out roads to and from. We took this zip line instead. It is not very high nor modern. The staff were great and the location and food were good. It was not as grand or exciting as other places we have been. I would rather have gone to another zip line and toured the rest of the area by bus. Now we know.

We just did the original canopy tour and really liked it. We were picked up at our hotel and dropped off (included in the price). Because of low season we were the only 2 on the tour. Zip lines were great and the guides were really friendly and professional. Definitely worth your money!

Family of four with two teenagers had an adrenaline fuelled 3 hours in the cloud forest canopy of Monteverde. We all felt well looked after, very safe and 15 zip wires, a Tarzan swing and a rappel felt like excellent value for money. The 800 metre zip will take your breath away.
